Are you stacking food/ canned goods at work?

I tend to stack noodles, canned goods and oatmeal in my locker for easy access for food instead of buying outside. It saves me money rather than buying fast foods when instant hunger strikes. It also keeps me from further binge eating. I usually eat a lot when bored. That will keep me from unwanted fats and calories. Are you doing the same thing? Tell me what's on your stock right now **jokes** or are you trying to see if there's an opportunity to stack up food; let me know your thoughts then. Happy mylotting, workers ^_^-)

I don't eat more except 3 main meals in a day so that i didn't bring any types such as cakes, candy, etc to the office. However i bring my lunch and have lunch on my desk because i really don't want to eat our side. I want to eat food that i cook only, and it saves money also.

Good thing you have someone who prepares for you a great REAL food. Hope to have ample time to cook and pack like that as well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts; I'm starting to get envy. LOL; happy mylotting with me more ^__^-)

No, i cook by myself. I often go to market in the early morning and prepare my lunch. I really don't want to eat out side because my stomach is sensitive with street food in here.

I don't even have ample time to go to the market and shop... talking about "marketing" strategies. I have the time to shop but for those easy-cooking foods and easy to prepare meals. How to deal with this will affects my cooking time as well. Guess I'll try to make things possible by allotting time in it. Thanks and happy cooking, er.. mylotting about food and how you prepare for it ^_^-)

hi resy. in my previous jobs, i usually keep biscuits and oatmeal in my locker and fruits and cereals in our office pantry. i'm wary of gaining weight that is why i only keep those foods. i also stack up on pineapple juice and apple juice. i buy the 2 liter packs and finish on or two boxes a day. i also prepare and bring my own food to work. not only am i sure that i'm eating healthy, i also save money as well. bringing my own food is definitely a cost cutter than eating out. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

My first job is a Customer Service Representative/ Chat support for a US travel account. I go to work 10PM to 7AM The second one is being an event organizer for cosplay events (This one is more of a freelance from 9AM but it takes most of my lunch time until 3-5PM.) I get paid by employers who gathers funds from sponsors and also by the hours I render with them and third job is a franchise consultant for food carts (I get paid through commission on my sales to them, how many clients did I close for a sale/ contract). Good thing I have a good shift with the employer from 6PM onwards. But if I don't have a shift I mostly sleep during the afternoon, wake up in the evening and conduct meetings with my team in the morning. And yes, again. I don't have time to prepare food. I mostly prepare food in my work desk. Visualize a mug, a tumbler, bottled water, sugar and powered chocolate drink canisters and some tissues. How chaotic it could be :) The cleaners don't have to worry; I clean it afterwards.

I also do this before, but when one of my officemates had kidney stone because of salty foods I stopped doing this. It is okay to eat this instant foods seldomly.

I also heard about that. Maybe he or she is doing it straight for months. LOL Too much thriftiness kills; should I say. i also eat healthy foods and not just the salty and greasy ones. I tend to break away from the usual and I sometime don't have the ample time falling in line to order; I just go straight to my lcoker and grab something to eat. Besides we also find it saving worth a couple of bucks doing this because it doesn't force you to buy something at the stores out of nothing to eat or limited choices and if I have to eat noodles; I monitor my water intake closely, too. Please greet your officemate for me to get well soon and happy healthy eating; for us; happy mylotting about food mroe ^_^-)

Chips and biscuits or cookies are the foods thag I used to stock at the office so that I could eat when I feel hungry and quite feel lazy to go out the building to buy.

Yes, I do this a lot. I am currently on a diet so in order for me not to be tempted to binge eat, I stack on healthy food such as oatmeal cookie bars, instant oats, instant soup, things which are low in calories. Also, I am currently working on saving a lot of money because I want to buy a new camera so what I usually do, every payday, I shop for my food to replenish the one I have already consumed. That will prevent me from eating outside with friends, thus, I am saving.

We are in the same page ^___^-) **hits positive rate button for this comment** Low calorie, less fat and less guilt even in you budget. Plus it also promotes more metabolism rate to work since you're continuously taking food in a LIGHT way; like instead of taking 2-3 big meals; you're breaking it to 5-6 light meals in a day. Hope to hear more about your progress in getting a healthier lifestyle and with your diet as well. Happy mylotting.
