I live in South Africa and my grand girls are in New Jersey. We keep in touch with Skype a few times a week and I follow my grandchildre's progress from wherever I am. I was there for girlie's birth and was the first one to hold her, and while I was not there for second girlie's birth fifteen months later,I have all the photographs. Today my oldest grandchild Ameera said her full first sentence and my daughter immediately let me know. She took a little longer to speak than most children and could sing songs and know the names of all the animals, but when she spoke it was hard to understand what she was saying. She came home from pre-school today and said to my daughter, "Mommy, can I have some water please?" Her first full sentence and in perfect English! These are the delightful things in life...

Oh wow she's doing great. Thumbs up to the teachers who did a very good job. I do have a 3-yr-old kid and everytime he speak words that I hear for the first time I'm so amazed. Wish my son could talk fluently so I could have someone I can share with everything.
Good day.
