Have you kept your Chinese mylot friends intact?

every since the scarborough Shoal controversy, some of my Chinese friends in mylot kinda removed me in their friend list. I didnt say anything personal against the Chinese people but it seemed like politics is very personal to some people. I do realize though friendship in mylot is not as strong as the organic friendship we had. I knew an Indian and a Pakistani who are friends despite of the feuds. I know a Russian and a Georgian who are also close friends despite of the political conflicts between their nations.
I know a Christian, a muslim and an Atheist who are close friends despite of their differences.
In real life I do have Chinese friends and I even have family members of Chinese descent and no political crap makes any difference, they were still friends with me.
How did the controversy between the Philippines and China changed your relationship with the Chinese people in your life?
There is a huge Chinese community in the Phillippines so for sure many of you can relate.

Hello CaptainAlbert, here in mylot? there was this one member I know who went completely nuts about hating us and the government after the manila hostage crisis killed a lot of hongkong tourist. another one whom i used to have crushed to didn't want to talked about the spratleys, it seems Chinese aren't trained to be free speech on politics. i think they probably like the government bullying the Philippines

I have good conversations with the chinese friend who removes me in the friend list and I never debated with that person and we never talked about politics. I guess that person get to read myh response in a post about China bullying the Philippines.

i guess i live under a rock. 
i dont pay any attention to other countries politics as i dont know what the issues are. i do pay attention to our country heres issues, but try not to loose friends over it. my closest friends have a total different opinion about our president. so i just try to avoid that subject

my chinese friends here in mylot removed me on their friend list, I never had a fight or debate with them but because of the conflict between China and Phillippines they removed me because I am from the Phillippines.

Well that's sad that some people think that way. I'm not sure I even had one to begin with here in mylot so if they did the same thing to me I wouldn't know it. Well I'm half-Chinese and still friends with myself. Seriously though, just don't mind them.

One of them is a mylot friend for 2 years... well I guess internet friends is different from organic friends. My chinese friends in flesh never talked about the conflict.

I think they're just self-centered pr*cks. The only thing they'll ever listen to is themselves. There's no need explaining to them. They will just stay as stubborn as they ever been.

do youn still have chinese friends in your friendlist or did they kept you? I was removed by many of them ever since the scarborough shoal controversy started.
