We have 2 sons. Before they were teenagers, we are always together. When our son was a teenager, they have their respective activities, so we rarely get together. When our children become adults, they are busy and we are less and less common. We are aware that this is a living process, and we have to think realistically. But why do we often hope together always? Was this a normal feeling?

I guess it is something that really happens when our children starts to live on their own. We just need to tell them to visit us once in a while and that we want to spend some quality time with them.

Yes, that's all we can do.

I think we all hope our families will find time for each other and be close. Thats what family is all about, being there for one another. And doing things as a family.

Yes, parents and children should be aware of and prepare for the situation.
