Yesterday I have downloaded the yahoo messenger in my system. Very soon I got the virus threat saying that potential tracing cookie is present. So far I did not have the issue . The yahoo messenger has been creating the issue by downloading the virus tracking cookie. The scan results showed yield manager cookie five in numbers, however, they were healed among five, one is healed and others are sent to virus vault. How to use yahoo messenger without these issues?

Tracking cookies are used all over the place. Even mylot places several on your computer. The risk of being more than just a cookie is actually quite slim, but obviously nasty stuff can latch on to them.
If you are using a mozilla product such as Firefox or Iceweasel, then an add-on such as "PrivacyChoice Trackerblock" can help prevent such cookies. But a good anti-virus is still essential if you are using Windows.
