it’s sunday, day of rest , so i really relaxed

Yesterday, Sunday , after I had attended the mass at 10:30 , I went to my husband’s workplace. He wasn’t able to attend the mass with me, because I overslept and he went to work early.
He was surprised and happy , I told him I will buy lunch for us and eat it at their office, since there are only 2 of them at the office and there were lots of clients.
I went to the nearby mall, buy a new folding umbrella (mine was lost the day before) and a new shades (mine , the day before, broke ) . Then, I bought our lunch in a fast food chain and ate it with my husband at the office. 
After that, I left him and went back to the mall again. I decided to fit blouses and I did fit a lot, though nothing seemed to look good on me. 
When I went back home, I watched TV while lying on bed, then read the bible, and then watch TV again.
I never felt so relaxed in my life. Had I not been on leave, I would have spent this day cleaning our bedroom because the next day will be office day. However, I can leave that to other days because I am on leave . 
After that, I left him and went back to the mall again. I decided to fit blouses and I did fit a lot, though nothing seemed to look good on me.

I'm glad that you rested on sunday. We do need to take time out and relax. It's also a great thing that you spent time with your husband. It's not always easy for spouses to get together for lunch while working. I'm glad that my husband lives close enough to work that he comes home for lunch. Enjoy your time off.

Well, at least you can always prepare a nice lunch for him. That too is so sweet, because they say that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach!

I love being able to relax on a Sunday after a busy week at work, and I am normally able to do this. Yesterday, I slept in for the first time in weeks, and then I spent the day with my family working in the garden and then cooking the dinner in the early evening. When I have children of my own, I hope that I am going to be able to encourage them to spend Sunday with us as a family, as there are a lot of people who are choosing not to do this anymore, and I think that it is very sad because family time really should be something that is special to us.

I thank God for giving us Sundays as day of rest. It is a time indeed to bond with our families.
Yes, Gemma at an early age, the parents should teach their children the importance of bonding specially attending mass with the whole family on Sunday.
Truly, Sunday is for relaxing.

But at least jazel, you have 3 kids to make you happy. Our daughter has gone back to Manila already for the school opening.
So i learned how to make my self happy - by window shopping when i have the money. It's a good thing, we were already given our 13th month pay and some proceeds from my special leave availment under the Phil. Magna Carta for women.

Isn't it nice to be off from work? Even just for a couple of days. Doing nothing, being at home, doing whatever that you like without worrying.

Yes, Toni it's nice to be off from work in a more longer way. I feel really relaxed, no hurry at all.
Though, i was operated last May 3, i feel a bit okay now. Though the stitches would hurt and make me bleed every now and then when i keep moving fast and forgot that i have just been operated on.
In a few more weeks, i can already move a bit faster. Meantime, i relax and relax and relax. . . .

Well me,I just stay at home the whole day.Rest,relax and watch tv.I also bind with my my niece and nephew.Play with them and watch them over cause their parent are at work.
The weather is also hot so I just stayed at home.

Actually ardoy, primarily my purpose that day in going to the city proper is to buy an umbrella and shades. But , i remembered to drop by my husband's office to see if he really is there since it's just a walking distance to the mall. 
It would be just nice to stay at home, but i want to feel the coldness of the air conditioner at the mall.
