i surprised my husband

I surprised my husband yesterday, by dropping by at their office yesterday, after hearing mass. I bought lunch for us and ate it at their office, since he cannot go out and have little time for lunch. 
I know from his face that he was happy by my dropping by at his office. I seldom do that, because usually, after we go to church and done some groceries on Sunday, he would go to their office and I will go back to the house. 
But this time, he was surprised and happy.

I could just imagine his face, happy to see you and bringing him lunch. Such a wonderful wife you are. Sometimes it's really good to bring out surprises now and then. Spices up the married life.

The truth is i'm not D! I'm the one who gets pampered and surprised. I don't like being romantic with my husband. For some reason i find it so cheesy.

As i have previously discussed, my husband is not a showy person when it comes to affection. But i am, but do it in subtle ways.

Nice of you to say what a wonderful wife i am , Toni.
Things such as a simple lunch to bring to our husband at work, could indeed make them so happy. It indeed spices our married life, because we seem to be bringing back memories of days when we were just sweethearts.

What is sad is that when he became the team leader, even on Sundays he has work.
He is that dedicated to his work, since he said he wants to give surprise audits to some people.

My husband deserves a treat , so i gave it to him. He is so hardworking that even on Sundays he would go to the office to oversee his staff.
And i guess, i love him so he deserves my attention too. And yes, doing things such as this keeps our love alive.

Yes, he has. He is the team leader of their LBC branches here in our place. On Sunday, he is usually the opening so we go to church early at 6:30.
However, last Sunday i overslept so i wasn't able to see him off to work. So, i surprised him. Cheesy yes!
