i was so happy yesterday

Yes, I was so happy yesterday, because I was able to buy myself two new blouses and jeans at the sale. I am always like this whenever I get a new thing for myself. 
My happiness was doubled, because I saw my former high school classmate and had a nice time at a café, sharing the just concluded Centennial Homecoming of our High School Alma Mater which I had intentionally did not attend because I had my operation. 
She showed me the video of the event and their dance number with my batch mates , which according to her was so applauded. And when I saw them dancing in the video, I can’t help but say “oh, I can dance those also because I knew them all”. They were the dances in tune with the 80’s songs.
And I was so happy to see even in the video only , most of my batch mates from high school that I haven’t seen for 35 years.
Now I resolve to myself that I will already attend reunions of our high school alma mater. I don’t attend them, thinking that I will be seeing some of my not so liked classmates and I know some will be bragging of their achievements in life.

Yes, jazel. My wait was worth it. I was able to buy two blouses and a jeans with discounts.
However, the blouse i reserved was a white one. I ended up fitting the fuschia one and decided it's more suited to my fair complexion. And in addition, it would be nice to pair to my white skinny jeans.

You got a great time then yesterday with your old friend. :-)
yesterday I was too enjoying. We had dinner with our uncle's family and it is long back to have such a big group to go to hotel. Otherwise me and hubby alone used to go. Yesterday I enjoyed with my cousins too. Playing with them, tricking them for fun and many things I enjoyed.

It's so nice indeed to connected with our friends and relatives, my friend. A small talk or gathering could indeed spark a great enjoyment to everybody.
It's a good thing too that we don't have to rush to get to another appointment. We have all the time catching up indeed.

It is nice when we are able to go shopping and get new clothes. We don't go shopping for clothes often. But when we do I enjoy it when I get good deals. It's nice when we are able to go shopping with friends. It makes things so much better.

Yes, it's really nice to be shopping for new things. It seems to reinvigorate us in life.
However Dominique, i don't shop when i am with friends. I like to shop alone because i can really roam around and fit and fit clothes and choose the most i like, without having to think of someone needing a rest already.
But i am happy that i unexpectedly met my old classmate, whom i haven't met for 35 years. We readily went to a cafe and had snacks and chatting.

Its so nice being happy!Enen over the littlist thing like seeing someone that you havent seen for a long time,can make your day.I think almost everybody is happpy when they get a new thing for themelve i thik that also makes their day.I belevie that there is more then one kind of happpy,meaning that happy is something that maybe money cant even buy.Sometimes it just means meeting an old friend like in your case.

Yes, my friend. Happiness is being contented with things and events in our lives even if they are the simpliest.
I am one person who could be happy and who could laugh over small jokes and simple things. I guess, i am just a happy person.

Yes my friend, i was so happy indeed that time. Imagine not having seen them for 35 years.
So i thank that former classmate of mine who i accidentally have seen. She convinced me that reunions are not what i think of - bragging.

I love being able to go to the shops and get things in a sale. When I was growing up, I was always overweight, and this meant that I was usually unable to get my size in clothes if there happened to be any that were on sale at the time. Now though, I have lost six and a half stone, and this has meant that I am a normal size and that the clothes that I want to buy are available in my size rather than just the smaller sizes like in the past. It is amazing just how much better shopping can make us feel, and I really enjoy it when I have a little bit of money to spend.

Yes, shopping can indeed be a form of relaxation my friend , specially if you were able to have good buys.
The moment i arrive home i would all fit them again in front of our whole body mirror, complete with a high heeled sandals.

Exactly.
There is nothing wrong bragging each achievements- but some people are too OA.
We are not blind anyway, we know who we are talking and what their status from the way the speak and move- so no need to brag.
Most of those who brags a lot actually looks the loser than a winner.
Because, achievers do not need to speak a lot- their looks speak for them.
That is also one reason why I am not excited to attend reunions. (duh)

Well jaiho, if they do brag, then they might as well assume all the expenses in the reunions.
That's right Jaiho, sometimes the people who brag are those that you know exactly how they are in life ( just the average). It seems that by bragging they can gain the respect of their former classmates.

well sometime people are stating the facts what are they latest news and such and maybe not bragging , but some do and does it quite open and reguarly . I guess it is their rewards for being successful and having nice job nice house nice family and such.If we do not feel jealousy or feel no confident or do not feel low esteem , it will be ok and we even can be happy for them also.

But you know, you can identify who is bragging and who is not.
You can answer when asked what's your job, who's your wife/husband, where you live , where you work but you don't have to elaborate as to how much you are earning and how many cars and houses you have. By doing that you are bragging.
My former classmate even told me that a batchmate of ours was surprised when they visited her in her new big house (one of them knows that she arrived from the US), you can tell that no matter how rich she have become, she seemed so humble. She was said to be so ashamed to have not readied any nice foods to serve them . And to think that she never announced that she has a very big grand house, ever nor have given any party in their house to show it off.
Those are the people i admire. They don't brag, but just let others discover their great status in life. Going to reunions with people like that would be enjoyable.
