i am disappointed that there is some repair done at home again

my mom likes to fix things that are not broken or does not necessarily need improvement. she likes to spend a lot of money of cementing things, upgrading some things even if the place is good wonderful condition. she would ask the carpenter to make something new out of something while we are still enjoying the place without any improvement because it does not need any improvement. and so now in the dirty kitchen i was surprised that the laborer started to till on the ground outside and would probably cement it again for no reason. i think that the floor on the front house is quite wonderful and does not need any repair. it is not like that it is some kind of highway or public roads that need repair from time to time because of the impact of the vehicles passing the road. we don't even have our own car. so my mom loves to clean the house. if she has nothing else to clean she is the one who makes a mess of the place to have a reason to make some cleaning again. it just frustrates me actually. actually other people do not understand it either but because they don't live here they don't get affected and don't bother. i do get affected.

Hi hotsummer, are you upset because she spends money you feel is
not necessary or what...It seems as long as she is not interupting
your life, why not let her do what she wants to do to make the
the improvements she feels is neessary...
I don't understand why you would get so frustrated I don't
know the age of your Mom but let her be happy in the ways that makes
her happy....

it is because i have lots of things to clean again at home. it is so messy again. i have so many responsibility at home, why she have to add another responsibilities. i am caring for my father who is sick, and i don't want keep cleaning the mess because of repair and running to care for my father. i am just too tired to do so many things daily. i have no time for myself any more.

I hotsummer, I do understand now...It sounds like you may totlly
be ovewhelmed in your daily activities...I am sure cleaning up
someones elses mess is not what you want to do...
Since you mom has the money to make un-necessary improvements
perhaps, she can use that money to have someone come to your
home to help with your father , if only for a couples of hours
a day to help you out...It may give some relief...

Sorry to hear that some of the things your mom does annoys you. I'm sure though that we all have at one time or another felt this way. I guess though if she wants to spend money like that she can. When people have money they want to decide what to do with it even if we disagree.

what i hate is that she would get angry with me again because the house is messy after the repair, that i am so lazy not to clean the mess at home. that i should clean my own mess, but it was not my own mess at all. she keeps finding reason to clean up the place. even if have done every thing, it is just tiring to keep cleaning the place daily. i feel like i was born in this world so as to clean the home from sunrise to sunset. and that is how we are totally different. she lives like she existed to clean every thing she thinks need cleaning. in short, she loves to work and clean even there is no need to because we have cleaned it already. like she always look for reasons for me to keep on cleaning. which i don't like. as i want to have my own life. i have lived my life in younger years obeying here, cleaning all i can daily. painting the wall, cooking and everything she would ask me to do daily. cooking for a group of people who i hardly know just because she told me. so i think you get what i am saying. it is not the money, it is the cleaning is so tiring and she depends on me to clean also.
