How about me? I've been through a lot of heck ever since birth. LOL.
Just want to share this post so for others to be grateful and to encourage others to live life to the fullest. I can't blame others for being depressed at times. All of us gets depressed at times. For this scenario; I tend to have it; a lot. Blame it to stress, work demands, family problems and such; I have that daily allowance of self-pity and hatred. But still what I've found out so far are the benefits of staying alive.
For me, being alone and empty does makes me lonely at times; although most of the time right now i find it normal and not so big deal. When I was in high school I normally surround myself with friends until 4th year comes in and I suddenly went; solo... LOL.
No wonder anti-depressant medications were developed because it is clinically tested that depression cannot be avoided by almost anyone. So it means one person have been depressed once. But do you think you would take these medications forever for you not to be lonely and depressed? Guess not.
In my case; All I need is motivation. "One who looses money, looses much...One who looses a friend, looses more... but one who looses courage looses all." Giving up means not realizing what's going to be your loss in life and loosing courage means gaining nothing or being good for nothing at all. For me; being thankful does helps boost your inner motivation. Be thankful that you have given a life because it does prove that you're worth living the life given to you. It means that you're strong living it as you embraces life's gifts ahead. And when you encourage yourself more; it beats out depression and thus encourage you to carry on and do better in life's different situation.
Guess sharing this piece of me helps. let me know if you have any questions or thoughts about this. Thanks and happy mylotting!

Count your blessings, it is a sure way of keeping depression away, lol! Being depressed is a state of mind, and keeping your head with positive thoughts and being thankful all the time for the small things you receive day-to-day would surely keep you on the right track to get through the day.

we have so much that we take for granted to be thankful for. i don't necessarily suffer from depression, mine is more insomnia related (i get tired of being tired) but i have known people that have it. you are right to have this positive attitude. good for you!

Never give up in life, so many hurdles will come. Just stay calm, try to overcome it, face it and you can see a beautiful life ahead. Initially, I used to ask God why you are giving so much trouble in my life. Later, I realized that God is making me bold enough to face any situation and I am strong enough now to face life as it comes.
