hi friends.
while browsing through news channel,i came across the headline,"Radical changes in cricket"
ofcourse i waited 15 minutes in the same chennel to see what the changes are but unfortunately too many important political news.
anyway the news being, that ICC commitee is plannong on news things for al 3 format of cricket.
in T20's,the world cup should be during every 2 years and no under 19 world T20 matches.
like what they have for ODI though.
no batting powerplay so now on there is only the mandatory 10 over powerplay and another 5 over powerplay before the 40th over.
thinking about 2 bouncers per over.
and they also said during non-powerplay overs, instead of 5,now only 4 were allowed beyond the 30 yard circle.
nothing that exciting about test except for day-night test matches and no drinks in between.not even during third umpire decision time to control over rates.
ofcourse these are just views and wil be discussed next month.
oh btw no change in drs or switch hit.

Being a Test match fan i am looking forward to see how a day night test match would look like.Other changes are not that exciting but some relief for bowlers as i see it.

ya day- night tests has been in the talk for long time.
Its a good thing as far as fans are concerned.
That will attract more live cricket viewers to the stadium.
Hope that we will soon see a day-night test match.
And removing batting power play is give support for bowlers.current rules are very much harsh for bowlers, but on the same hand they have told that only 4 players outside the circle! so its once again batting favor rule.
so in effect run flow or run score will have the same effect. so definitely we can expect more odi matches with 400+.

I think, now t20 world cup is conducting in every year.It will be a good decision to control it to once in two years as now there is lot of t20 matches in various premier league. i personally thinks that now the cricket world is having lots of t20 matches.
the decision to take away batting powerplay and having two bouncers in a over is bowler friendly decision but to have only 4 players beyond the 30 yard circle will put pressure on bowler and captain.

There is a correction in your post. The International Cricket Council’s cricket committee has recommended to remove the bowling Powerplay (not batting power play).
I think the suggestions are fine and will create a balance between ball and bat. that is needed as now almost all rules are batsmens friendly. If there is a balance between the two then it will become more exiting.
