How would you feel if someone whom you always thought was a friend
accused you of doing something that you would never think about doing
to them...Something that you knew was so important to them..
I was really shocked when this came about..I really was annnoyed because
how could someone that suppose to be a real friend think that I would
even think about something like they thought I did,..I guess thats why
you really need to be careful which wagon you hook your star too...
I am who I am...take me or leave me...But I am a real person and I have
love and morals...I treat friends like friends...I guess you would have
to really know what a real friend is to understand that..
Anyway I will live but its just hard to get it out of my mind..
Have a wonderful week all!!!!!

I think its just like a relationship or dating sometimes we arnt all on the same page. But I agree I wouldnt want to be their friend if they accussed me of something. I once was in a situation where I thought myself and two others were close friends and they would be there for me even though we were seperated from school. I was diagnosed with colitis and going through a hard time. This one friend basically told me nicely shes not wasting her time while I faked it and wanted attention (needles to say that was the end of me talking to her). Yet, the other friend who I didnt think was close was there for me, and helpedme through the hard time. I guess we live and learn from life.

About three years ago I went to stay with an old friend. I was there for about three months until an emotion situation happened in my personal life and I had to go back home. After I was home for over a month she emailed me one day and told me(now this was just out of the blue and nothing leading up to it) that I needed to get the stuff I had stolen from her back to her immediately or she would call the authorities on me. I was really shocked! She is a very private person and it I knew it had taken alot for her to have me come stay and enter her and her daughter's sickly world. SHe has fibromyalgia and her daughter has several things that keep them mostly house bound. I had moved in partially to help them financially. So I felt as you did when you said "how could someone that suppose to be a real friend think that I would even think about something like they thought I did". I was so shocked and so hurt. I don't steal and for someone who I had known for many years to accuse me of this was just too much. Friends are very important to me. I don't have alot of them but the ones I have are very good ones. I love by the golden rule--Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I am who I am too. I was discusted, hurt, shocked, and minus a friend when the emails all ended. She didn't persure it much further and I haven't seen or heard from her since. Sad because we had some good times together and I really thought we were soul sisters. So I know how you must feel. I am still hurt by it and its nearly four years ago now. If I only understood why she decided to act like this it would be easier. You have a wonderful week too!!!!

Hi celticeagle, thanks for your response...I am so so sorry
you were in that situtation, but I am sure you know exactly
how I feel....
Like I said previously, we live and we learn, but as long as
my conscience is clear, I can sleep at night without any
problems...
Thanks again!!!!!

I know I didn't do anything wrong and I can also sleep at night knowing this. But, I still don't understand why she chose to accuse me and that keep me wondering and unable to fully put this behind me.

this is how you discover who your real friends are. you can tell that by their actions and words. yes, stay the person you are. you will never please everyone no one can. move forward to someone who appreciates you for who you are, and who would not accuse you of something that you did not do. the best to you.

thank you clocks, I appreiate your response...its just sad
when you are falsely accused...It really bothers me and I am
so sorry I let other people who had nothing to do with the
incident, get me so angry that I got out of character...
thanks again,,,,

I will be more than hurt if I were in your shoes. I guess you need to talk about it. I had several experiences with people whom I thought were my real friends. Now I only have 2 friends whom I considered my true friends aside from my family. There are those who were only good to me as long as we can still be useful to them.

So you didn't run to her landlord and get her evicted? Did your son not start something with the man who had come to help her? Was it not reported that he had a knife when it was only a cell phone? Who told the landlord all this stuff so that he asked her to leave? It is my understanding that it was told to her that you reported rhe incident and about the holes that the daughter made. He never knew about the holes she made. Who knew about it and reported it? Of course we don't expect you to say you did it. It's just that SOMEONE she trusted and told her secrets to went out of their way to make life hard for her. That's really sad.

First of all points, you NEED to get your facts straight...Hell NO
I had no reason to RUN to the landlord to get anyone evicted...My
son is a Police Officer and he really can take care of himself...
Next the man who "CAME TO HELP HER" had motion to my son with his hand
like he was shooting at him...Next this man(who was her daughters man)
knew he was not suppose to be on the property per thee LANDLORD not me.
next he did have a knife, my son saw it and so did I,,,
Next I don;t think anyone had to tell the landlord anything...he had
already seen the holes in the ceiling from her daughter hitting on
the ceiling for the people up stairs making noise..sO YOU ARE A LIE
about the LANDLODRD never knew about them...I was sitting in her hoouse with
her when the landlord told her she had to repair them...
Next the same police reports that she took to the family court to
get her daughter removed from her house is the exact police reports
the LANDLORD got from the police department..
So how dare you get on this forum to blast me about something that is so
not true...
GET YOUR FACT CORRECT!!!
I have been by her side everytime she has need me ,day and night...so
you need to mind your business and stop spreadng S H I T that is so not true......

good day bjc66bjc,
with reference to your post, honestly, i am somehow at that situation though its not exactly the same. the thing is, i met this friend few days back and im quite confused if she really treats me a friend or i am just too lonely that i assume that i found a new friend on her. nevertheless, if she only make me believe that she befriends me, then, i rather loose her now than to develop the friendship that will lead to a fake relationship.

If you are absolutely sure to have done nothing as opposed to his/her accusations, then you have to prove him/her wrong. If he/she would not believe you, then better cutoff the friendship. Misunderstanding is quite a common issue amongst friend, and the only thing to resolve this is to lay the issue at hand and come out with the truth.
