i guess everyone wants to have a fast internet connection like dsl--connection via phone line, cable--using cable modem and via cabletv wire, satellite--remote location, no near posts

I using Cable Connection But that is not as fast as to be. I would prefer to DSL line which is not available in our locality and dialup is very slow. I think it is better to use DSL Line if you have option.

I'll recommend satelite.

Dial up is expensive too. The fees may be low but you land up spending a lot on your phone bills, which often cost more than the internet package itself. Dial up connections are extremely unstable and require you to log in and log out everytime you want to use the internet. Teh procedure to long in takes a while too. Satellite is waaaaayyyyy tooooooo expensive!!! Cable net is the best if you ask me. Broadband, unlimited access, reasonable charges and excellent stability. After using cable net, I could never even consider moving back to dial up.

I use dsl. It is fast. We always have a good signal even though we live in the mountains.
