Bell, who has two 100-yard rushing games for Denver this season, was sidelined by turf toe. Other inactives included wide receiver Quincy Morgan, linebacker Nate Webster, defensive end Kenny Peterson and running back Cedric Cobbs.

Right tackle Kevin Sampson was the only Kansas City starter inactive. The week before the Chiefs were without Pro Bowl guard Brian Waters, Pro Bowl tight end Tony Gonzalez and weakside linebacker Derrick Johnson.
