Do you do ceramics?

I have a friend who is going to start teaching me how to do ceramics. I can't wait. Does anyone out there do ceramics?

I took ceramics class way back when I was in high school but do not remember how to do it but it is messy so prepare yourself to make a mess. :-) It was fun from what I remember.
