Why some posting increase ranking by 2 points?

Suppose u have started a new discussion but nobody replied and when u r replying to somebody else's discussion that time somebody replied to ur discussion (started by u) then u will get points for the response u replied to another's discussion and one more point for the discussion u have started so it gets superimposed and u think y this happened...........I hope I explained u clearly if not then u r free to ask for further queries.........

So we get a point when someone responds to a topic we started? That would explain it because I've seen it happen too and every once in a while my points will go down by one, but not very often.

i haven't noticed that.i will try to keep an aye in that and will inform later.anybody has the same ?increment of 2 points

Thanks for clearing that up for us dreams, I had wondered this myself.

Is it really so, I have not noticed it really at all. I thought you will get only 1 point for every post regardless of what you post and where you post. Thanx for that info anyway.

How do you check ranking?

It may also be bcause of people giving + or - to a discussion? The more + you get for your discussion or response the better it helps you out?

I always give + on discussions and replies within posts but I have no idea if this actually helps with anything :P

I couldn't tell you, no matter what I do, I'm still hanging out as a 1.
