Your waiting in line to be served at a take out

Happened to me several times. I wait about a minute, gave them to finish up. But then she start chatting with others so I just call them if they are closed for today. See, Im short for my age and I dont look like my age group. People always mistake me for middle school kids or high school kids. So, they thought it was just a kid looking for menu on the board....... But they dont have right to assume that and not do their job. I got the manager out and told what happen, he apologized and we got free meal..... lol

I'd be like "H-E-L-L-O?". I would just call them over and ask to be served and if that doesn't work the manager might be interested in this little display of poor customer relationship management.
