| | 3.  rzr247 (1332) | 2 years ago |  I already watched 6 of them,.but It happened one night is the best. It was actually my first time to watch a black and white film. I heard that some said that you will never appreciate the effects just look on the story behind it. I did followed that. But in this movie it doesn't need effects. It is beautiful just the way it is. I think if they put some effects on it, it will just ruined the film.
I never encountered a black and white that will definitely amused me and loved every scenes. Every scenes is hilarious. If I know a good word to describe it I'll type here a million times just to describe this movie full time. But I'm a newbie.
The characters*sigh* (in a good way). I love them. The two lead characters is so funny all the way throughout the film. Peter Warne is so funny. (haha!) And Ellie Andrews is so awesome! I'm not sure if Oscars' awards will give this movie a break if there is a universe, galaxy, almighty award that much supreme to Oscars it definitely deserved to be awarded.
I have a lots of favorite scenes in here but one thing that I can't forget is the scene in which they act like a husband and wife fighting in front of the detectives. It was really funny. I also like the thumb rule. haha! I also like when Peter act as a kidnapper just to frightened Shapely. I also like the walls of Jericho. Wait, I thought its just one thing. Hehehe!
Sometimes it's good to check out old movies. It's definitely an awesome trip!

A lot of movies they hail have lost relevance and have not actually stood the "classic" test of time. i.e. most people do not care. | |
