Chanukah!

I see so many people putting up posts about Christmas shopping, what you doing for Christmas. I see 0 posts on Chanukah. Maybe I missed them, Who knows, but who here celebrates it.
I have been celebrating Chanukah since I was 1. This will be my first year of not doing presents for all 8 days, and only doing 1 gift instead.
If you celebrate Chanukah, Post here what you normally do during that time. It starts on the 16th remember.
I normally visit family for one of the days, than the rest, we just light the manora (never could spell it), say the prayer while doing so, than open gifts. that's all we normally do.

It will be my son's first Hanukkah. We will give him 8 presents. Some are pretty small though. He's only 8 months old so he probably won't even understand the whole thing, but it's all about tradition. I want to start with him early.

It's always good to start early, just hard to keep it going. I'm sure your son will enjoy his first Chanukah.

I am a Messianic Jewish believer. So, I do both. I light the menorah. But, I don't give gifts each night. It's just my hubby and me.
I do want to wish you a very happy Chanukah though.
