Christmas tree, fake or real?

I prefer real trees - just because we have always had a real tree for christmas and a fake tree seems like less "christmassy".

I like the way a real christmas tree smells~ to me it smells like christmas:)

My tree is artificial but it is really pretty. I like real trees but they aren't that available to me and they are messy too.

I liked real ones, too. That's all we had when I was a kid up until they introduced those silver ones with the color wheels. When my kids were at home, we always had a tree. Some years it was real, and other times we used a fake one. While we were in Tennessee we didn't have one at all. Now that we're back where we'll be having little ones around at Christmas time again, and our living room is very small, we went out today and bought about a 2' fiberoptic tree and some little ornaments to hang on it. It's the thought that counts, right?
