I'm a stay at home mom too... I also homeschool my oldest child, she's 10. The youngest wants to do schoolwork, but she's only 16 months & thinks books are for eating. LOL.

I am also a stay-at-home mom and have been for the last year. Most of the time I really enjoy it but man, can my girls really work me over! Sometimes I'm just so busy feeding them and cleaning them up and cleaning up after them, and then other days I don't have much to do at all. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. The girls do funny stuff that I would never get to see if I were working, and I love those moments.

I work as a web-developer from my bedroom :) Money is slow, but whenever I do earn money from a project, let's just say it doesn't come in low numbers. I was a stay-at-home mom for 1 year, but then we really need extra cash so I started working part-time as a Real Estate Agent.

As I said already, I love your job. For the past month I found out that staying at home with your kids is equal to work 8 hours. What I mean is that it is less tiring to work 8 hours than being with kids all day. Of course working has no fun and happiness, only the fact that you are independent.

If only we could get our husbands to understand how important the work we do at home all day is. My husband thinks I don't do enough.

remaster, I agree with you. I never knew how difficult it could really be to be at home with the kids all day! It's not like you can put in your 8 hours and then leave. They're still there, except now it's time to feed them dinner, get them a bath, read them a story and put them to bed. I never really thought about that before I was a sahm. Luckily my husband is pretty great and if I've had a bad day or am feeling a little overwhelmed, he's always willing to bail me out when he comes home and let me get a break.

I don't like repeting myself, but I will say once again I love that kind of job!

I'm a graphic designer also. You're using pc or mac? Which programs do you prefer to use?

Im on a Mac... my most used programs are the Adobe creative Suite 2.
I am more interested in Web these days also... Dreamweaver is my choice for that.

I'm on pc. I use Corel Draw and Photoshop but I really love to use all these 3d programs in order to make something that none would ever copy easily.
