best digital scrapbooking software  | |  i am very new to digital scrapbooking. i realized it is quite difficult. i tried Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Photoshop elements. i found both programs quite hard to learn. right now, i am using, you wouldn't believe, MS Publisher! its really easy but results can't quite compare to those made from Adobe programs. any suggestions on how or where i should start with the adobe programs so that it would be easier to learn?

| | | | | | | | | 1. pillowgirl (63) | 4 years ago |  There are a lot of sites out there for digital scrappers. I have a blog that I give away a lot of free stuff on, for example. You have a lot of choices when it comes to software, but you should look especially for one you are comfortable with that allows you to use jog and png files from other places. Some software only lets you use their clip art and such and that is so limiting with free designers out there making new stuff every day.

Just try practicing making layers and dragging your files around until they are pleasing to you, then search on google for some free tutorials for the program you use.

I haven't started online scrapbooking yet, but I plan on doing it this year. I have a few programs one is called Keepsake Scrapbook designer, Hallmark scrapbook studio, Photo Explosion Deluxe 2.0 and numberous other photo programs. I think I even have photoshop 7 somewhere.
I guess my only excuse is no confidence in myself.
I want to do this so that I can put them on DVD's or CD's to give out to the family and they will be able to see them on TV or thier computers.
I cross stitch, crochet and other crafts, why I don't think I am able to do this is way beyond me.

I know Adobe Photoshop is the best to do it but i really can't get it hehe. Goodluck!
