why are some of the words in my replys and posts a hyperlink?

I have noticed when i posta topic or a reply that some of the words are a blue hyperlink.. well i dont know if they are actually a hyperlink i have never clicked on them jut becuase usually when i am online it is nap time and i have a couple things i want to do and dont want to be drug all over the internet becuase i clicked on something lol. Is it from the advertisers for this site.. like is it they way that they are making money but what's odd is it is words like people, and like. just everyday words that arent brands or anything like that.. has anyone else noticed this as well? or ever clicked on them?
