i ahve seen the movie i have seen all of hitchcock movies..north by northwest was very good..i think all the cary grant movies with hitchcock were very good.

I love Hitchcock.Rear Window used to be my sole favorite. But now it is tied with North By Northwest.It is the most stylish Hitchcock film.And the dialogue is great.Even if you know what is to be said, it is great to hear it. It is one of those films that you can watch on a continuous loop and never tire of it.

I've seen this film several times over the years and last year I decided I had to buy it on DVD as it is one of my fave Hitchcock films. It really is a classic and is a must fee for anyone who likes Hitchcock thrillers. The story is so far-fetched that it makes the film believable and it was way ahead of its time! I mean can you imagine being mistaken for a spy and then having your life turned upside down? Excellent movie-making!

Thought I'd paste this bit of trivia about the film here: The movie was born from two key scenes that Hitchcock was desperate to realise. One was to be set at the United Nations, and the other was to be a chase across the presidential faces carved into the Mount Rushmore National Monument. It was Lehman's job to construct a film around these two visions, and out of them emerges a thriller so improbable that it becomes quite brilliant in evading even the most fantastic of audience guesses.

This was one of Hitchcock's Best. It was so full of action and best parts, that I could not say what I enjoyed more, the chase by the crop duster, Cary being drunk and almost getting pushed off the cliff by the heavies, disguising himself as a porter, getting chased over Mount Rushmore. I do not know if it will be on High Definition or Blue Ray. I hope the former, because I would not mind owning it.

This movie belong to oldies but goodies movies. It is inspirated by a story from Stephan King. Nice film.
