how to get a student loan with bad credit

my son attends msu in starkville ms. he was told that he will not be getting a student loan or pell grant for the second semsester,because he owes the school $2500.00, because his gpa dropped.we have applied for so many loans but all denied beause the both of us has bad credit.We have co-signers that have been denied as well.I no there must be some type of help out there.Iam a single disable parent that's on a very low monthly income.My son can't afford to miss a semester.So is there anyone out there can give me any advice or tell me what to do.It will be very much appreaciated.

He has to get that gpa up to 2.0 in order for anyone to give him a loan even with co-signers. My daughter is having the same problem with getting loans but her gpa is up. I don't understand how these colleges and loan people can deny their students. How else are they suppose to get some credit.
