I try to beat the deadline for $10 this month and buy this earning a christmas tree. Is this a good Idea

I guess that's really more of a question for you than it is for us. Only you can determine if you think buying a Christmas Tree is the best use of your $10, or whether you could use it more on something else. We couldn't really determine the best value for you.
