cymbalta gave me withdrawl symptoms straight out of a heroin movie. Anyone else?

YEAH! I had this happen with Paxil! They say it isn't adictive? But THEY never tried to get off the stuff. You sweat, throw up, shake, have the runs..everything you'd have getting off heroin! (Freaky dreams, even!)
I finally committed to getting off! Was SICK of beng stuck on to avoid hurting through the withdrawl.-I tried the year before and couldn't do it. The doctor insisted I keep taking it and wouldn't help, so it was harder. I kew I didn't need any more of it. (Wanted to keep taking my insurance!)
This is what I did. First I cut my dose in half and stayed that way for 2 whole weeks. Then I cut the half in half and did another 2 weeks. Finally..I went off and it was HARD! I FLUSHED it all then, and I ahd to MAKE myself not get more and go through the withdrawl. It took 6 weeks before I felt normal again!!! I am great now..but I would never trust taking any med like that again.
They don't tell you the truth about what these meds are like when you want OFF. They lie and say they are not addictive! I attempted suicide coming off, just to escape the withdrawl..but family was there and helped keep me to it! But I am OK now and off and doing GREAT! And i was right and did not need it anymore. (Been free of it over 5 years now!)
No matter what they tell you..these drugs ARE addictive! Do not "buy" that they are not!
