This is my first christmas at home with my family (got married, had baby and got new house this year). We always went to family before, and never cooked.
Can you suggest what we should have that is not too hard to cook or too expensive (baby costs me a fortune and wife isn't earning so we are a little poor!!)

Well there is the traditional and non traditional.
Traditional:
Turkey/Chicken
Ham
All the veggies and stuffing
Non Traditional:
Pizza or Chinese Food.
I prefer the traditional turkey, with stuffing and veggies.

Thanks, I think we'll definitely go down the traditional route. The only thing is that there will just be 3 of us (only 2 eating - daughter will still be 2 months old!)
I want to make it a 'proper' christmas roast, but didn't want to spend all day in the kitchen or cook enough to feed the street when there are only the 2 of us.
