What would you do or feel if you discovered that you have a cancer?  |

|  When my mom found out that she has a stage 2 cancer she was devastated because she already know that it will come and she make precautions for it. But she never knew that it will be too hard to accept it. She don't want to die yet... But I think it was her 1st doctor's fault why the cancer almost reached stage 3. My mom always have her check up because she notices that there are lumps in her breast but the doctor always says that it was nothing until she look for another doctor and he said that it already a cyst. And an immediate operation was needed. She got her right brest removed and taken a chemotherapy. But thank God that she survives!

| |  When I was diagnosed in Dec. 2005 with breast cancer, I remember thinking to myself that it couldn't be right. Breast cancer had never run in my family at all. At least it didn't until I was diagnosed with it. Cancer in general runs in my family, but I was the first in my family to have breast cancer. I am 36 years old now, and I am still on chemo. I have had a masectomy of the left breast, and my surgeon told me that the cancer was completely dead. Since the initial shock wore off, I have been trying to live my life almost the same way that I did before finding out I have cancer. For women reading this, please check your breasts monthly at least, and have regular mammograms. I was diagnosed at age 35, and I had never had a mammogram before that. Doctors say to have mammograms starting at age 40, but I think it should start earlier than that.

| |  I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in 2000. There was not much I could do but to go with the flow of treatment. The side effects have damaged me, but I am still looking ahead to the future. I think we all do the best we can.

| |  Live a better life. Enjoy my kids.. talk to them to ensure they will keep focus on their life even after Im gone. Give them all my love and attention. Visit all my familly and enjoy them as well. Make peace with God and myself.

Uhm.... I don't know I could react if I lived a situation like this.... but I can understand your desperation, because also my father has the same problem, and he is doing the chemotherapy. He is better now, and all we are hoping he'll win this terrible struggle against the cancer.
