wht r the best firewalls and anti virus softwares

I dont use firewall but I use Norton antivirus to protect my computer from viruses and threat

Yes I agree Zone Alarm is the best firewall tool.And for antivirus I use AVG Antivirus program.I never had any troubles with my system so I will recommend AVG to others as well.

It basically depends up on the environment of computing. That means anti-virus and its performance would be based on the situation. For a home user, Avast Home edition is pretty enough and it serves well for me.

I am using this one since 3 years. But I have tried other ones like Kaspersky, Mcafee, etc. Even though they are high end softwares, they failed to secure my PC when I walk through hostile environment.

These softwares proved to be useless during detection of malware in mass storage devices. I am not satisfied with these. Now, I am free from Viruses as I am using Linux as my primary operating system. Just give it a try.
