What's the point in school suspension?

I mean most kids would enjoy a day off from school. Why don't they have school on Saturday and make these kids spend their weekend at school instead of giving them the day off?

I've always wondered this too, and in some places they do have Saturday school.

I think Saturday school would be wounderful.It would take away something from them, a day off.Instead of them getting one for doing whatever wrong they had done.
