Songs to my daughters

I think the song "Someday (I will understand)" by Britney Spears is a wonderful song to dedicate to children.

The year the song "I Hope You Dance", by LeAnn Womack came out was the year my daughter graduated from high school. I dedicated it to her, and we even danced to it at her grad party. It was so special. I still well up every time I hear that song. The song that reminds me of my son when he was little, is "Simple Man", by Lynard Skynard. I used to sing it to him while I rocked him as a baby. I think that anyone that listens to a lot of music, associates different songs with a special time or person in their life at the time. Good topic.
