The REALITY of the existance of Angels manifesting themselves to us on Earth!!!!

Being Christmastime, this is the perfect time of year to undertake this question. Throughout the Bible, Angels are mentioned on countless occassions as messengers of God. I've heard several stories from people who claim to have witnessed angels. One such story came from a woman who recounts the day when, as a child, her class was taken on a field trip to a local park. In the park, near the river, a little boy was standing next to the bank, peering over at the rushing water and eddies below. This little girl was wondering what would happen to the little boy if she "gave him a little shove" over the bank. Just as she started forward to satisfy her curiousity, an old man from behind her said in a soft voice, "Don't you push that little boy in". Turning around to see the source of the voice, the little girl saw a bearded, white man in white clothing. Ignoring the old mans' advice, the little girl proceeded toward the boy at the bank. Again, the voice told the little girl, "Don't you push that little boy in the water. You'll kill him". Finally, the little girl gave up her plans to push the little boy in. Later, as the class was loading up on the bus to leave, the little girl asked her teacher who the old man was. "Old man?" asked the teacher. "There is no old man in our group". To this day, this woman feels that the old man at the river bank was a Guardian Angel. Has anyone else experienced a "guardian angel"?
