if you could afford it, would you put your kids in a boarding school?

I don't think so ,I like to keep an eye on my kids and want to see them grow up with my influence and I would miss them to much.If I could afford it private day school but that does not fit in with everything they know and the people and friends they mix with.If you did that you would have to do it from the start and be in that mix of people to start with and they would know no difference.Also it all depends on where you have to send them and what it is like,If the school was really awful ,drinking soup would be no problem to me,turning up at parents evening in old clothes the kid might get the mick taken out of them,or just leave them in the real world and let them grow up in the world they will have to cope with.

i could not imagine sending my boys away to go to school, I know that I would miss them too much and that they would grow up at a disadvantage to other kids who satyed with their families growing up.
