Hi! I have tried to read the classics. I'm not a very good reader, but I'm getting better. I want to go back and read The Catcher in the Rye. Some of the classics, though, like The Great Gatsby, just didn't hold my interest. I love kids books, too. I just read a book designed for children about how to write poetry, but I learned a lot from it, too! :-)

Count me in! I read a wide variety of books.
I love reading my kids books. 'If You Give a Pig a Pancake', 'Its Not Easy Being a Bunny', and 'No David' to just name a few.
I also love reading Dean Knootz...I have most of his books, even though I have not read them all, they are waiting their turn to be read.
Dean Knootz also wrote a book with a book. 'Mr Murder' and within a mock of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'...but it is called 'Santa's Twin'. I actually read this to my children every year after Thanksgiving instead of the traditional holiday books.
I love paranormal romance. Maggie Shayne is my favorite but Nora Roberts has a few good series too.
But I do not like the vampire books...that is until my sister convinced me to read the Dark Series by Christine Feehan. I am currently in that series just starting book 6, 'Dark Fire'.
I read books my teenager reads also. She loves it when I read it because she can then talk to me about the book when I am done. Have you ever read 'Speak'? It is written in form of a journal of a teenager and the things that she was facing in high school. Great book!!! She also got me to read 'Haunted Sister' (wonderful story that even made me cry) and I am still working my way thru 'Series of Unfortunate Events' (movie was very mixed and disappointing).
I could go on and on about the different types of books that I read. I think I just enjoy reading. :)
But if you are ever looking for a good book to read, be sure to ask me...I am sure I could give you a few good suggestions. :) But that works the other way too. I enjoy suggestions also when I am looking for another book.
