Mother In Law From Hell?!

though i was married twice, i hit it lucky both times.
my 1st mother in law was kind, but really dense. the things she said were lame and naive'.
my 2nd mother in law was a gem. she treated me better than anyone could imagine. she treated my sons like they were her blood grandsons. i hope i am following in her footsteps.

I thought I had mother in law from hell when I got married. She called everyday, few times a day, and drove me crazy, I was like I dont even talk to my own mom everyday, but now, since my whole family are in Japan so she is more nicer and we actually get along well. Once we got to know each other, she happen to be very easy going person. She takes me to shopping, lunch and dinner sometimes without my husband which is her son.

Well I don't have a mother-in-law but I know what your talking about though

How many stories would you like to hear? I have more than enough to fill up several pages of discussion. I try not to relive all the experiences because one-time was enough.

One off the top of my head, my dog travelled with us to visit & they wouldn't let him in the covered porch area. (they hate dogs--or so they say--its either me or the dog.) Anyhow, he got out of their fenced in yard & was lost. I got in the car & drove looking for him and my husband started looking for him on foot, but they just stood in their front yard & watched us. Never offered to help. We spent about 45 minutes looking for the dog and they just stood in the yard. After I found him, I brought him back and was ready to get out of there. All they could say was--he's such an ugly mutt. (I've had this dog about 14 years and had him before I married my husband.)
