| Is it possible to believe what the Bible says and what science books say?  | | | |  I am a Christian and believe that what the Bible says is true, but I also believe that paleontologists, and archeologists' discoveries of dinosaurs and ancient civilizations are true too. Is it possible and/or right to believe that somehow both are correct?

| | if you decide to believe in science, then you cannot believe in what is written in the bible and viceversa. science is based upon observation, experiments, feedback unitl you manage to discover a law or anything unknown until that moment. however, you must give a logical explanation and everyone in the same condition must obtain the same results.
the bible is based...in nothing of that. it is based in faith, that is i do not know if it is true but i believe it anyway.
finally, think about that: a part from the "da vinci code" ( that's just fiction and not even a very good one ), church has decided which byble to use. the priest in nicea in 325 (if i am not wrong) gathered and decided which of the many papers were "real", and made bible from them, and which were just "fake". they decided according to what they wanted, but in this way they set up their own rules and the christian laws, not god!!
