I went and saw Deck The Halls a few days ago with Danny Devito and Mathew Broderick in it. It was a pretty good holiday movie. It's the kind that will make you laugh and in the end make you feel all warm insiode. Mathew Broderick palys a man who in his town is the guy that does the Christmas thing. He is the one with the best lights and Christmas is his thing. Danny Devito then moves next door and is a flim flam kind of guy car sales man. He gets the idea that he wants his house to been seen from space. He then buys all the lights in town and takes over as Mr. Christmas in the town. Mathew doesn't want to stand for that and the comedy begins. I think it would be a great family movie. I would give it 4 out of 5 and I recomend you go see it during the holidays.

When people see Danny DeVito they usually think, this should be a good movie (besides Twins). When people see Matthew Broderick they usually think the same thing (even though he's not in many movies anymore). Bothe of them pair up together in this fun, slapstick adventure about pretty much who has the better house of Christmas spirit. I went to the sneak preview about a week ago with a friend having no expectations whatsoever. Probably due to the poor marketing. But don't be fooled because this is a treat for any family to get in the mood early for Christmas. Overall, the movie made me feel good inside, but was a bit too much on the over the top in some spots. At one point during the movie Broderick tries to sabatage his electricity and it just turns into a jumble of slapstick and gross stuff that makes you not enjoy what your seeing. However, for every one of these parts there is a part that makes you feel warm inside. This is truly an excellent movie that you should bring your family or even your self too
