What kind of Paintings Style Do You Like? / myLot

I use to like abstract art, but over time I came to really enjoy realism. I am not an artist but I do have a few friends that are and at times I have no idea what they have painted. hahaha! I do enjoy realism a lot, to me it shows real talent and the paintings seem to speak to me. What style do you like?

I tend to like paintings with lots of blue in them that look realistic. I don't want to have to guess what I'm looking at. I like sailboats and lakes.

Yes I like anything ocean, sea related. I agree I don't want to guess either.

I love abstract paintings. And also paintings of sunset. Baby paintings and mother and child also captures me. Beach is also a nice scene.

I enjoy realism more. My favorite artist is Thomas Kinkade, known as the "Painter of Light". All of his paintings seem to draw me toward them. He is not only a good artist, he seems to be a really good person and it shows in his art work.
