Anyone been an extra in movies? Which ones?

I have been in Miss Congeniality, The New Guy, The Rookie, Jack and Bobbie (tv show). It was a fun experience. You can barely see me in Miss Congeniality, but you can tell it is me in the New Guy in a few scenes.

That's cool. I've never been an extra in any movies, but I have looked up some info on how to be one. I like the idea, but I don't like that I would have to pay for head shots if I just want be an extra.

When I was in college (1999) they were filming Spy Kids right down the street from my apartment. I hung outside Antonio Bandera's trailer and asked people working on the movie how I could become an extra. They didn't need any more extras for that movie, but they gave me info on a casting agency in Austin. I just sent my info in and got calls for the movies. And yes, I did get to see Antonio. :)

That is so cool! I have always wanted to do something in the film industry! Maybe when my son gets older and he is in school I can get into this. Good luck on getting future extra rolls. Who knows, maybe one day you will make it big? That would be great!

yeah, that has always been my dream. Maybe they will need a mom and son for some extra work??? :)

OH thats soo koo!!!!!!! i always wanted to be in those lil flicks of the movies!!! lol! but no i havent ! =( but my friend was in the Movie CHUCKY ( the possesed doll) we call him Chucky now! =)
