I just had to write an intense paper in my abnormal psychology class on the movie Girl, Interrupted. We had to pick a character from a movie and then say what we thought they were diagnosed with. I chose Wynona Ryder (did I spell that right?) through the movie she is Susanna Kaysen. I diagnosed her with manic depressive episode though throughout the movie and her actual doctors in real life diagnosed her with borderline personality disorder. Anybody know anything about this. I would love to hear other peoples ideas on Ms. Kaysens disorder.
