Okay, well I just "consulted" with my brother and he said the Wings weren't all that great in the 80's...said they were called "the dead wings"...ha ha...But he did tell me to mention Stevie Yzerman...and also that right now we are doing AWESOME :-)...and of course, that we WILL win the Cup this year...so let's just wait and see, okay? :-)

Of course Yzerman is the best Wing of all time. And he was a crucial part of Canada's 2002 Gold Medal.

Also, as of today, the Edmonton Oilers are currently 3rd in the Western Conference while the Red Wings are in 6th.

I also thought the Red Wings were supposed to beat the Oilers last year in 4 straight.
