Nintendo DS Games-Please help!

My 10 year old son has a nintendo ds and he has the mario games and i am now at a loss on what games would be good for him. I would like to buy him some for Christmas and then his birthday is 3 days after and i am totally stumped on what games are fun or interesting. I bought him a couple of the dog ones. Did You find any good games? we got our 8 year old the game boy advance and there were a good amount of games available for here age.
