Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia and a very busy city.But you still can find many interesting places here.The Monumen Nasional, locally known as Monas is the trademark of Jakarta. You can enjoy this magnificent monument from the beautiful huge park. From the park you can also see the Istana Negara (the presidential palace). You can also walk to the Museum Nasional. This museum has a huge collection of national treasures. And try to walk over the Jalan Thamrin. You'll find the excitment of walking on a busy but beautiful street. Don't forget to visit Ancol, a huge theme park where you can find Dunia Fantasi (Jakarta's own Disneyland look a-like),Pasar Seni (art market), beaches, SeaWorld (huge sea aquarium),etc. If you want to see the whole Inonesia in one day, visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. The food are great and cheap. But beware of the traffic. It's very unpredictable. Overall Jakarta is an interesting place to visit.

Food great, party great, friendly, and they just finish their election. Haha.. going back again in October and will be living there for 6 moths.

off course i know about jakarta. all indonesian must know Jakarta. jakarta is our country capital. this is one of our pride. Jakarta is central our economic,politic power. Jakarta had many interesting place to be visited, many historical museum, had many place to be relax in weekend, had a many variety of delicious food.
