is FORREST GUMP the best movie ever?

i won't say that it is the best movie ever 'cause there are lots of movies that are yet to come but i would recommend everyone to watch it. it's a nice and quality movie. full of lesson and inspiration. i can still remember its famous line "life is a box of chocolate, you'll never know what you're gonna get..."^^

definitely its a great movie but i dont think its the best ever.
i do love that movie actually until now whenver im down i want to watch it cause it gives me some hope.
it has alot of values that needs to be learn.
it also tell us that love can be true even to the most disabled person.
i also like the way tom hank portray the character...

Forrest Gump was definaltey a great movie...but, I wouldn't say it was the best movie ever. There are just soo many movies to choose from and plaenty that have still not some out!
But, Forrest Gump is a really great movie!!!:D

i liked it.... but i found terminal and cast away better

if not the best but it's certainly one of the greatest movies i have ever seen. the journey of Forrest Gump through ups and downs, full with human, believable emotions is really plaudible. of all the scenes i like the one that binds FG with his mother and the death bit is very touchy indeed.
Tom Hanks is a great actor and he has been fabulous in the film with all eccentricities look wise and mannerism wise..

i have just loved the film and i think it has covered wide plots ranging from childhood innocence to armed forces to love and to evolving as a mature, responsible citizen.

Forrest Gump is a great movie. Well you cannot have a single best movie. Green Mile by Hanks and also Shawshank Redemption falls in the same class. Well, it belongs to the class of great movies.

I also think Forrest Gump is a truely great movie, but I don't think it's the best movie ever! I have one simple reason and that is: I think The Godfather is a best movie. Forrest Gump is in my top 10 list though.

I do agree. It is the best movie ever.I remember that many years ago I asked my father to buy me a VHS copy for my birthday. I never got tired of watching that movie all over again. I loved the quote: "Life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get".

Forrest Gump is really a great movies, and i watch it many times, but i cant say it's the best one, maybe just one of the best!
