It is not always easy to identify who is truthful and who is deceitful but eventually you will know. Some people are very good at deceit and are not easily detected.

I find it very difficult to determine when someone is lying to me. I think that sometimes I tend to believe the best about people. It's hard to find a balance between being optimistic and pessimistic, especially when you've been hurt badly by lies in the past.
