Wow I like Dean Koontz myself and i am reading odd Thomas right now.Life Expectacy was great also. Stephen king is another great book writer. Thanks for your comments

Yeah Stephen King wrote some good horror books. I have been reading more on Dean Koontz then Stephen King though lately.

Sorry i don´t know Dean Koontz, i bet his good when you like horror books. I also like Alan Dean Foster who wrote the alien books there also very good, well i like these kind of storys. I would like to know which King books you liked the most.

I liked The Stand it isn't horror but it is a good Steven King Book, 4 past midnight, pet semetary good book and good movie, The Green Mile now this one isn't a horror but a very good story and movie. Excellent book and movie.I have read more let me know what you have read Mike.

Hi Shaun nice of you for leting me know, i remember best the book /Stark The Dark Half i couldn´t let go on that story, so mystic, scary & ominous also saw the movie of it but it can´t really match up with the book but it wasn´t bad made. Also Shining was awesome to read, in my opinion that´s the best movie made on King books though the book is as usuall much better. I also loved reading Langoliers what a weird story that is typical King´s visions. From Bachman books i remember the The Long Walk & Rage but that´s so long ago i only really remember the titels. My mother gave me a hugh book from him including Salem´s Lot Carrie & It
i started reading it few years ago but it´s in english and it was to hard for me to read it as you know i´m german so i couldn´t go on with it. But my english got much better since i´m on mylot, i think it could be a good idea to may be start reading it again.

I have seen the dark Haf but never read the book I also just read Stephen Kings Needful Things that book and Movie are both really good. I have never gotten into space books or anything like that to much

I love the Dark Half story read it twice, you know how it is everyone´s taste is different. Yeah Needful things i forgot about that, how could i. Only saw the movie and yes that also was a very good movie. As i said i missed some good King books because i stoped reading longer time. About space books, that interest is out of my early youth, i love sci-fi, allways begging my mom that i could stay up and watch these sci-fi-movies from the 60´s & 70´s... lol and it´s still present today.

that sounds cool though. I have never really gotten into space movies I did like star wars eposide 1 ok and the first star wars series in the 80's was ok I am juist more into horror books and movies.

HORROR.. Yeah, well the first Alien movie was some kind of special it mixed to genres Horror & Science Fiction that was specialy in that way they did it new in those days, original it´s from 79´ i saw it first 83´.
It´s a milestone in this genre nothing after that movie comes close to it. But i said i also read the books and they are fantastic but they did a very good work on the film. If you want to read a horror sci-fi book one day read this one.

I must say i was really disapointed about the new star wars parts, also about the fact that George Lucas has kept the fans worldwide waiting for 17 years just that he could bring out parts with the new technology he needed for it, they lost the character of the old series. Only Episode 1 was ok in my opinion. But i saw the star wars in cinema as a young boy, i´m a little out of age for it ...lol.. i like watching the ol´ original part sometimes to remember back when i saw it in the theatre with my father in 1977. That was a great day for me.
But i will try to read again a Steven King book when i have patience to start one... bye Shaun

Hi Shaun, on your discussion it came in my mind about Edgar Allan Poe - The Fall Of The House Of Usher did you read this one, i had a look and still got that ol´ book well i forgot a lot on it, it´s long time i have read that one but it´s a great story and a briliant horror author from the older days. Same counts for H.P. Lovecraft.

Yeah I am glad you meantioned Edgar Alan Poe that is a great story he was a excellent horror writter for his time. The House of Usher is great and so is Tell Tale Heart. Thanks for meantioning this.

Yes Tell Tale Heart i know that one but sorryful haven´t read it yet´ , but as it´s said what not is still can be..lol
I was sure you like Poe, a side note you sure know the Alan Parson´s Project well the first album they released in 1976 titled Tales Of Mystery & Imagination is a gathering of Poe´s short tales set to music. You should listen if you don´t know it. bye Shaun

yeah I have heard a few of thier songs actully all of their songs is about Poe's stories. I have heard a few of their songs I will have to check this album out thank you :)

Yeah Goosebumps was good and Stephen King writes some great books
