 I got about 28 budgies at home. Interestingly in India they are known as Love Birds only. Do let me know how you like the pictures I took with my 6600. I am sure that you all love the quality;-).
I wanted to teach one of them to talk, but i had to leave home for work. so right now they are in the hands of my family.

| suedarr (1523) | 4 years ago | Sam will say hi ya or hello ...:) He tries simple stuff or will chirp back at us. Sunny was one year old when we got her and was never taught to speak, but we try. I think the younger they are the better they learn. It takes a lot of patience and repetition. Good lucks!!! | |

| suniljoseph (104) | 4 years ago | yea, you got to start young, otherwise you may never teach them to speak, also for better results you have to be its only family. means, if there are other budgies, then they would prefer to speak in "budgie tongue". if there are no other budgies, then you are its family and it will try speaking your language. | |

| 3. brendalee (5064) | 4 years ago |  28 is a lot of birds. I bet they keep you busy. I call them parakeets but I have heard them called budgies. I don't have any now because I have cats and I don't trust them. But I did have them before but was never able to teach them to talk.

| 5. spangles94 (438) | 3 years ago |  omg 28:O geesh we had 2 at one time and geesh were they loud LOL, i can only magine what it sounds like over there, man and i thought the chickens were bad out here LOL, i wouo love to get more soon but i want to get a bigger cage or cages, roght now we have 2 small cages that inches would do well in and only 1 cage thats big enough for keets or budgies but since my bird that recently died was in it i cant put my sons bird in it even tho its been wahed cleaned etc ya know .... but yea we will have a pretty nice size zoo here soon;) makes me sad my bird that died sugar was her name was solid white i dont think ill find another keet like that again:(* sniffles*

He's a lovely little bird, i love him, he's always singing to the radio ect, i've tryed teaching him to talk, he neally says mamma, his little beak keeps moving when i talk to him.....he's neally there
