Mother and Son fake retardation to get aid for 20 years

I cannot believe this story. I don't know if any of you saw it on the news this week but apparently the son is now 28 years old. They started this when he was 8. The mother claimed he was mentally retarded and she would get financial aid because of this. They figure they have cheated the government out of 220K. The way they found out was the son went in to fight a traffic ticket and he didn't know there were cameras in the courtroom. He was perfectly fine. Not a thing wrong with him. I just can't believe the things people will do. Just shocks me.

I hadn't heard about this, but it is just bizarre! There's some really wierd stories out right now....like the woman who put her baby in the microwave! O my gosh! I guess that's another discussion, tho.

I don't know if I'm gonna be angry or laugh at those two. I mean, how can you fake being a retard for two decades? I act like a retard for five minutes and then I laugh like crazy. Ok, now I know, I wanna laugh at those two.
