Please be honest you parents out there - do you have a favourite? If so, why is this particular child your favourite. It seems to me that mother's usually favour the boy(s) and father's sometimes though not as often the girls. Thats the way it was in my family! My mother adores my brother....to the point of being worried when he was a teenager that he might meet a bad woman that would take him away LOL!! I know it can sometimes be the opposite but I personally think it is very unusual for a parent not to have favourites. Of course my mother finds her favortism hard to admit to, but under cloak of anonymity, I would like a parent to tell me why they favour one child over the other and how they deal with this!!
